Exodus Shield is built with a privacy-first approach. All heuristic scanning and threat detection occurs locally on your device. We do not transmit your browsing history, DOM data, or URLs to any external servers.

2. Data Collection

We DO NOT collect, store, or share:

• Your IP address
• Your Exodus wallet addresses or balances
• Your Secret Recovery Phrase (Seed Phrase)
• Your general browsing history

3. Permissions Explained

webNavigation & tabs: Used exclusively to detect when you navigate to a known phishing domain so we can immediately redirect you to our local safe warning page (blocked.html).

Host Permission (<all_urls>): Required to inject our local heuristic scanner into websites you visit to detect obfuscated drainer scripts in real-time.
